Because believe it or not, there’s a version of your web design service that allows you to work on ONE project at a time, make more money, AND have your life back. And I’m gonna walk you through exactly how to do it.

It's time to start
closing your tabs.

(Both literally     and figuratively 🧠)

Dear Designer,

And I know it feels like ~tHiS iS jUsT h0w WeB dEsiGn iS~ and that the service itself is fundamentally broken. But there actually, truly, genuinely IS a solution.

THE_USUAL_SPIRAL

Because beYOND the hundreds of client brand photos in your downloads folder, pages and pages of client copy, passwords, DNS settings, opt-in form codes, and emails stacking up on top of each other, I know (from personal experience!) that you're also probably:

designing 5 websites at once because last month's clients didn't give you feedback in a timely manner and now you resent all of them

feeling a pit in your chest every time you get a new inquiry because even though you really need the money, you don't know when you'll be able to fit the next project in

wondering if you'll be able to take any time off this year because you DID budget for a short summer break but had to use that time to catch up on client work instead

saying yes to way more revision rounds than what is reasonable (and feasible!) because you're a nice person who is just grateful to be doing creative work for a living

plotting to burn your business down because you're sick of seeing everyone else posting cute IG stories from their mid-afternoon walk in the sunshine while you're drowning

No other service provider on the internet is juggling as much as a web designer.

i think we can hold hands and say it:

You are in full control of your schedule and capacity (like actually)

dream_biz_01

a business where:

but I think it's time you built yours.

you're building everyone else's dream business,

You have reliable, projected profit numbers for the next month, quarter, and beyond

dream_biz_02

Your clients are respectful, responsive, and take ownership of their OWN work within the project (whether that’s giving you feedback in a timely manner, or writing their copy, etc.)

dream_biz_03

There’s time left over to work on YOUR business

dream_biz_04

You wake up feeling creatively inspired and trust your own creative instincts

dream_biz_05

You have time to live an actual LIFE outside of your business—weekends, vacations, pursuing another creative endeavor, spending time with friends & fam, celebrating the holidays, etc.

this is a brand new offer, but i've got a good track record with designers and clients ↓

and as a self-taught designer (who has integrity and actually gives a fuck), the mere THOUGHT of having a “Website in a Week” offer used to make my skin crawl.

Because I didn’t know that much when I started my business, but the ~vibe~ I was getting from the online space was this:

“Real designers” do long, custom, drawn-out projects. And if you don’t, you’re not a “real designer”.

Now, luckily, 6+ years in, a Forbes feature, and 220+ websites later, I can see that for the crock of bullshit that is. I’ve been able to help SO many more clients this way (and help them get their impact out into the world much faster). I just had to get out of my own damn way about it and stop apologizing for efficiency. 🙃

The Website Week system singlehandedly changed my business. Contained project processes led to more clients, more clients led to more referrals, and more referrals led to a snowball effect that has kept me fully booked out for the last 4 years. (I’m so serious rn. Not a singular open spot in that time frame.)

But most importantly, it has given me a design process that actually WORKS so that I have lots of free time to have a whole ass other creative career (I'm an actor, did you know?!), try all the new restaurants I find on TikTok, make my cute lil IG stories, and live my life outside of my business too.

And… that was kinda the whole point of starting a business in the first place!

      Sarah Kleist

hi, i'm

With the Website Week Kit, you'll be able to...

so you can finally put your project scope creep to an end

Design_a_faster
_process

so you can stop guessing how many clients to book and know exactly what you're making next month, and next quarter.

Map_your_capacity and_revenue

so you can stop reinventing the wheel every project and show up looking like the creative director you already are.

Create_a_real onboarding_system

so that you can leave room for the rest of your life — kids, your other projects, an actual weekend, whatever else

Structure_your projects

and stop apologizing for elongated timelines you didn't even agree to in the first place

stop_chasing feedback_for_weeks

so you can move with confidence instead of refreshing the same page for the 400th time

Discover_tricks_for designing_faster

as the premium method it actually is so you can stop worrying that "fast" means "cheap" and start owning it as your thing

learn_how_to position_sprint_work

because you know exactly when you’ll be working (and on what)

Be_able_to schedule_a_vacation

instead of feeling dread and overwhelm

Feel_excited_to_dive into_work_everyday

and all the gorgeous work you’re doing for them

Be_obsessed_with your_clients

And they’re gonna be so fucking STOKED when they hear that THEY, TOO only have to dedicate a week to their website and not have to think about it again for a long ass time.

Because the faster they’ve got their website live & out in the world, the faster they:

→ make their money back
→ book their dream clients / customers

and most importantly...

→ get to think about literally anything else

(Which is such a fucking gift to them, lemme tell you.)

YOUR CLIENTS DO TOO!

You’re not the ONLY one who wants to get your client websites off your plate.

and can i just say...

Although the Website Week Kit is designed to walk you through my exact process and show you how to replicate it, I've also made sure to include ways you could tweak it to make it work for 2 weeks, or 3 weeks, or 3 days, or a month, or whatever other timeline you want.

Because even though I SWEAR by the week system (and highly recommend you at least try it!), I also know that what worked for my brain won't work for every single other designer on the planet.

Ultimately, what you'll get out of the Website Week Kit is a framework for contained project processes, a one-project-at-a-time style of working, and a holistic view of your design business—so that you can finally spend less time in front of your laptop and more time off of it.

Whether you do it in a week (or not) is up to you!

I don’t actually care if you end up designing websites in a week. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

let me be clear though,

You genuinely produce better work when you marinate on it for a while. This might not be the process for you!

→ Anyone looking for a get rich quick scheme. This is just a method. (You still have to do the work and be good at it!)

→ You think starting from a template is beneath you. We're going to have to agree to disagree on that one 🫶🏻

You mostly work with huge brands—this method works best for designers with clients who are solo founders, personal brands, or who have small teams.

This kit is not for you if . . .

→ You’re a website designer who is sick of the hamster wheel of having too many overlapping projects and not enough money

→ You’re a brand designer who has avoided adding website design to your services because you know it’s a lot more moving parts

→ You’re a talented overthinker who knows you’re a great designer but you question everything the longer you look at your own work

→ You’re a designer who’s good at the design part and bad at the business part — and are finally ready to fix that

→ You have something else going on—an acting career, kids, a day job you’re trying to leave—and need a business model that has actual project start and end dates

This kit is for you if . . .

frequently asked questions

Is this geared towards designers of a specific website platform?

The Website Week framework works for almost any website platform. That said,  I am a ShowIt designer for service based businesses, so my experience is filtered through that lens, and my tips & tricks geared towards how to literally design faster are ShowIt-based. However, that is a small portion of the masterclass. All the big, important parts could be applied to almost any website platform.

When do we get access to the Notion resource hub?

You'll get access to the Notion resource hub (including the client portal, bonus lessons, and capacity calculator) on the day of the live masterclass, 8/20. It requires the context of the masterclass first!

Do you use AI in your client process?

While I sometimes use AI to create custom embeds for my clients, I do not use AI in my design process and this workshop is not about using AI. For the sake of transparency, though, I did use AI to create the capacity calculator that is included in the Notion resource hub. You don't have to use it if you don't want to!

I’m a brand new web designer. Will this work for me?

YES. I wish I could go back and re-take this workshop as a brand new web designer. I would have saved myself so much time and frustration lmao.

What if I don't want to do it in exactly a week?

That's totally fine! This system can easily be tweaked to work for you. There's more context about how to tweak the process in the Map Your Capacity bonus lesson.

Does this work for larger sites? What about e-commerce sites?

Larger sites, yes. I will be going over how to scope for a project that is objectively too big to do in a week.

E-commerce sites, I'm honestly unsure! My hunch is that it could definitely work, you'll just have to do some tweaking. This workshop is definitely centered around service-based websites.

Will you teach me how to actually design?

Outside of some tips for speed, no. This workshop is about your design process, client systems, and sales systems. Basically everything surrounding the actual design. There are other folks who teach the actual art of design way better than I ever could!
